Homemade Furniture Polish

Whilst looking through some old recipes I found this 'recipe' on an ancient newspaper cutting.

Melt in a bowl over simmering water:

4ozs grated beeswax

1/2 pint of turpentine (turpentine is FLAMMABLE so please becareful)

a few drops of Lavender Oil

When the wax has melted pour into a suitable clean screw top jar and leave to set. Rub on furniture with a soft rag and leave to dry, then buff to a shine with a clean cloth.

I thought this was just the place to pass it on! If I have a go I may add lemon oil instead. happy-flower

If it's got tyres or testicles it's trouble.
