I've been looking for a recipe for a spray on conditioner for a while. My hair is long and I have a little split end action going on (cause I haven't had a proper haircut in ages!). I never could find a recipe that I liked. Either I didn't have the stuff or it had to be refrigerated or it was a masque-type thing etc. So I finally just threw some stuff in a bottle and called it condtioner. And, shocker, it works pretty well!
8 oz spray bottle filled almost to the top with water
1 tsp honey
1 tsp almond oil
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Essential oil of your choice (I wanted to use lavender, but…i lost it in the move of course, so I used patchouli instead. one drop seems to be pretty mild since it's diluted)
I'm trying to get away from using store bought shampoo also, so yesterday I used baking soda on my roots, which worked like a charm. Then I sprayed this concoction directly onto dry hair. My hair didn't fall out, change colors, or stand on end. It actually revived my curls and allowed me to brush it without yanking my scalp off! I count that as a win!
