Here is the Oatmeal/ Goatmilk/Honey soap I made for the shower. It made ALOT of soap
Lathers wonderful too , feels great on my hands This is not my recipe , I found it on the web. I just added the oatmeal and changed the fragrance. This set up very nicely and the soap looks/smells GREAT
Milk and Honey Soap Recipe – Cold Process
48 ounces shortening
22 ounces coconut oil
16 ounces olive oil
24 oz. cold water
12 oz. lye crystals
Temperatures: around 100 degrees
After incorporating the lye solution with the oils, add:
12 oz. can evaporated milk, warmed (for lighter colored soap with firmer texture, you can use only 6 oz. evaporated milk and increase the water by 2-4 ounces)
At light trace, I mixed in:
1 cup oatmeal finely ground in processor, add 1/4 c -ish at a time mix well then add more until all is incorporated. You could add more based on your liking as this is a large soap batch.
then I added 1T warm honey
1oz of Oatmeal/Honey Frag. oil
