I found CITR about 5 years ago after reading one of Suzanne’s Gazette articles in a Sunday newspaper and I’ve been hooked ever since.  The blog gave me some laughing-out-loud moments (Annabelle and Clover) and some moments where tears filled my eyes.  I look forward to reading this everyday!

I first found CITR when I was searching for designs of goat houses. Then, I discovered that my friend Shelley had been a long-time reader. I’ve been reading the blog for years and look forward to the book. ;-)

I don’t even remember how I found you. I just remember reading all about Clover and your adventures in Milking. And it was hilarious and honest and made it clear that I really didn’t need a goat for my own backyard.

I was searching how to make candles and up you popped – a search I’ve never regretted!

DeDe recommended this blog in posts to the canning2 yahoo group; been hooked ever since  (it’s been years, though it was a long time before I actually registered).  The way you’ve dealt with all the challenges you’ve faced is inspiring, and that you still have a sense of humor is a lesson to all whiners.  The recipes and make-it-yourself instructions are good too!  I love to come here after a stressful day – really helps me decompress.  Can’t wait to read the book!!!

I found CITR one day while reading the internet… one of the other bloggers mentioned it. I’ve been reading since the days of the little slanted house and Georgia!

CITR BOOK GIVEAWAY

I was looking for a recipe for old fashion chocolate cake back in July/09, and CITR was one of the sites that popped up. Once I started to browse the site I was hooked because I like to make food from scratch and enjoy the simple and real things in life.I was very fortunate to win a BBB on month a few years back. My daily routine isn’t complete until I visit CITR. I’ve laughed and cried, with Suzanne, and consider Suzanne a friend even though I have never met her. Thank you so much for this site Suzanne.

My sister invited me to attend a Cheese Making Seminar this spring. I have enjoyed the blog ever since we visited the farm.

I have no idea how I found you… I know I was looking at homesteading sites a few years ago. I might have found you then. I’m a big recipe freak also, so maybe I found a recipe that led me to you. (I know I’ve found a bunch since then!) All I know is I’m very glad I found you and you’re one of the very few that I check more than once a week, if not every day! Thanks for being such an inspiration, Suzanne.

My cousin told me about your blog.  She saw an article by you in the Gazette, and told me about the article and the website.  I’ve been hooked, ever since.  I would love to win a copy of your book.

I remember that I found Chickens in the Road several years ago during a very quiet day at work, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what I was looking for. Maybe I was just browsing. However I came across the site, I am really glad that I did!
