I honestly can’t remember how I found CITR but I know I loved it from the start.  I’ve been reading the blog for several years now.  I love your determination and can-do attitude, Suzanne.

I wish everyone luck in the drawing.  I seldom win anything so I fully intend to buy your book.

I found CITR when I homemade hamburger helper recipes. Since then I have used a lot of the recipes and read CITR every day. Reminds me of my early years growing up on a farm.

A couple of years ago, I followed a link in Cannig2-yahoogroup from DeDe – it led here. I’ve been lurking ever since! yes Have utilized many recipes and will continue to use the “Mom Approved” ones – my mother in law and I share a kitchen, and cooking detail. When I experiment, and try a recipe she approves of, she takes the print out and puts it in my loose leaf binder. The rare ones she doesn’t care for, she tosses out with the trash wink

I was looking up canning recipes. Then I started reading because Suzanne was living a life similar to mine, and I loved the name. Then I took a soap/cheese workshop and enjoyed my day at the farm. And I met a friend in Clarksburg who also enjoyed the blog.

I found Suzanne’s blog when I was googling milk cows. I have been lusting for a milk cow for years. Chickens in the Road has eased that lust while I wait (impatiently) for a sweet BP or Glory Bee of my own.
Thanks Suzanne!

I first discovered CITR over three years ago now… I’m honestly not sure how I found it, but I would think that maybe it was via another blog I read at the time? I immediately fell in love, thanks to the story of Glory Bee’s impending and actual birth. I’ve been a reader ever since!

Me neither! I thought it was a link from Pioneer Woman, but Suzanne said “No, it couldn’t be.” So maybe it was a link from another blog, or maybe from a blogging awards site. But who cares…I’m here now.

Honestly, I don’t remember how I found CITR but something sure helped me get here as fast as I could and love to read about farm life. Just printed the recipe for Grandmothers Sourdough Bread Starter recipe and plan to start this in the morning!

I was reading my “cat site thread” comment and the lady had links for recipes for homemade suet and when I read them, they suggested other links and one of them was yours Suzanne. I have been hooked ever since. I am a faithful reader of CHICKENS IN THE ROAD! I love your family and farm. Thank you SO much for being there for us to enjoy. Love ya! HUGS :)

I added the link to my FB page. but don’t know how to link it back here… :( I copy/pasted the link and put it on my page. Help?? I need details…..

I can’t remember where, but I found your site through someone’s recently visited blog list. I clicked on your name and have been here ever since then. Thanks for the chance to win your book!

I found CITR by this past Spring when searching online for how to raise backyard chickens.

Can’t wait to read more about your journey, Suzanne!
