It is beautiful here! It is supposed to reach almost 70 degrees F.  We have a chance of rain, hoping we do not get it.Sun

Beautiful so far!  Great yardening day!!  Looks and smells like rain, but so far that is all.  A good bit of wind, though.

Yesterday was beautiful, broke a sweat packing boxes for the move this weekend. Today, not so much…warm (around 70) but overcast and humid. Over the weekend, while we were moving furniture into the TN cabin, it snowed. SNOWED. All day. And sleeted. And just generally made moving, which is the 7th ring of heck for me on a good day, that much worse.

Here’s hoping that my little mountaintop in TN realizes it’s spring before too long!

Glimmer, you remind me of the years we lived just south of Nashville!  Spring was so pretty in the South and unpredictable, too!  Though, we didn’t see near as much snow in all the years we lived there as you have this winter!

It has been a crazy winter, for sure. There’s been snow farther south than I ever remember it before. The ridge in TN has proven to be…well, something else for sure. I’m excited about spending my first spring there. Spring in GA never lasts long enough! Hopefully, TN (on top of a mountain in TN no less) will afford us  a longer spring before things start boiling in the summer.

I woke up to snow this morning and let me tell you the chickens do NOT approve!  I’m pretty sure they were cussing at me when I took them water and let them out of the coop!

It’s not enough to do any harm, though it’s chilly and windy, it’s just a spring fling so I’m not worried.  The roads are dry but the grass was completely covered.  It’ll be gone soon though, and the daffodils are just about ready to burst out of their buds.

Wow, BG!  Our slushy stuff didn’t stick here at the house.  It’s nasty enough outside that I do NOT want to go play in it!

The weather here in SC is perfect, sun and a little cool, perfect for working in the garden, but  because I like to live indoors and have 3 meals a day, I’m at work-the place that pays me!!

Cool mornings here — low 30’s, but it’s been warming up nicely during the day the last couple days — mid 60’s.  I’ll take it!  Yes

Do not send any of that snow to Michigan!!  It is sunny and in the 60’s today.  I got the juniper bushes out front trimmed and I can now see out of the windows. Cool

It’s been snowing the past couple days here.  Sigh…

At least it’s not sticking to the ground for very long.

Weeeeee!  Gotta love ND!  I lived 7 years in Anchorage Alaska, and North Dakota usually had much worse weather than we did there.

Of course, here in Ohio, we currently have a Tornado watch and thunderstorm warnings all over the place.  I miss Alaska!  Only Blizzards in the winter and earthquakes…
