You know it is going to be a bad day when the first, fresh out of the oven, batch of chocolate chip cookies slide off the parchment lined cookie sheet and ooey gooey chocolate ends up on the dishwasher on a cabinet shelf and all over the floor.  Thanks to my hubby who cleaned up the ooey gooey mess off the floor.  Think I might reconsider my plans for the day and go back to bed.

You throw the laundry into the washer, turn it on, and when you go in to take it out and put it in the dryer it is still dripping wet! Evidently the spin cycle isn’t working, plus the machine smelled hot. So we had to hand wring out every piece and hang it all outside on the clothesline to partly dry. Just brought it all in, still damp, and threw it into the dryer. At least that still works.

The washer repairman won’t get back to me until Mon. at the earliest, his answering message said.

So it wasn’t a good day! But, it was breezy and 50’s outside, so got a few outside winter prep things done. Have to look on the bright side…smiley-puppy

Remember, if it rains on your picnic it's also raining on your garden!

I feel your pain brookdale.  Been there done that.  Having a breezy day when you hang out laundry is a good thing.  At least it wasn’t strong enough to blow your clothes into the neighbors’yard or tree. Don’t ask me how I know that.
