I’m putting this in the ‘Country Style’ section though mine and some others may be putting recipe ideas in here too.  Under the circumstances, I thought it was the best way to keep things together…  I hope folks will forgive me for mixing things a bit.

As always, if anyone has an actual recipe to post, please post it Farm Bell!!!   This however just sounded like such a cool THANG!!!!   If anyone is having a party and tries this, please tell us how well it works!

I’m not doing much for Halloween since we live on a tiny dead end road, but I’m going to try to do a bit of outdoor stuff, it’s really a fun time of year after all.

Anyway, check this idea out, and go find that blacklight you had back in the 70’s! Then let us know what YOU ALL are doing to decorate or prepare for the spookiest holiday we have!!

Hi BG … the link isn’t working, so I tried doing a search.  Still found the same url so am not sure what happened.  Too many spaces at the end?  Not savvy enough to know ….

Holy cats! to what extent we will go to make cupcakes glow in the dark!  My hat’s off to the young lady for all that extra dipping for the black light event.  Not blessed with black light fixtures but the idea is very cool!  BTW, I know the blog is Food Snobs, but have you noticed all the photos are signed with Food Snots? LOL!

I haven’t done much with Halloween for a couple of years.  Either we’ve been traveling over the holiday or I’m not motivated highly without kids-in-house at present.  I might do the pumpkin carving thing this year with a Cannibal Pumpkin pursuing little Pumpkins … there’s also a luscious Pumpkin Bars w/Cream Cheese Frosting.  Hmmm.  Maybe I’m motivated now ……

Thanks Ruthmarie!  I found the problem, so now they both work. happy-feet  Links are a bit of a pain at time and I was in a hurry.  I know, it’s all very fun though isn’t it?

I’m at least getting some glow sticks from the dollar store, I saw another cute idea where you take a paper towel tube, cut eye-holes in it, paint it dark and stick the glowstick in there, seal up the ends with duct tape or whatever, then after dark they’re just glowing eyes.  We don’t get many people here, just one group of kids really, I could go hang them further down at the end of the street, more people will see them there at least!  Not sure but I feel like doing a few little things at least!

BEG  This is too funny because my hubby was telling me about the toilet paper tubes and glow sticks just this morning.
