I’m so into making jams right now. Strawberry, Peach, and Blackberry so far. Uses less sugar and I can whip up a batch in less than 20 minutes. Stores in the fridge but it doesn’t last very long. It is my husband’s and grand daughter’s favorite. BBB

My fist memory of canning was my Mom and Dad put up spaghetti sauce every summer (wonderful sauce)! They stopped canning when I was in my teens, after I got married I have taken up this skill, I love canning and sharing the canned goods with friends and family! Happy canning! BBB

I’ve just cold packed plums and made plum butter this week. The first of 10 plum trees. I’m also counting persimmons before they’re hatched, but it looks like a good crop.
