My copy is falling apart, and the price of 35 cents is printed on the cover. But, it still works just fine, taped together at the seams. A new one would be nice though…BBB!

  89. joykenn says:

Wow! what a lot of posts! I’d also like to be in the drawing for a BBB. Forgive my ignorance but do you use this on toast in the morning? I’ve never had tomato butter. I know tomatoes are a fruit but I never thought of making a jam out of them. (Actually if there are any uneaten green tomatoes we always fried them–yummy. Ripe tomatoes were either canned or frozen with basil to have a fresh tomato sauce in the winter.)

  90. Kathy G. says:

The Honeyed-Yellow Tomato Butter looks delicious! BBB, please.

  91. Susan M. says:

Thanks ladies! I have done some canning throughout the years, but never to the extent of my mom or grammie. I guess that’s the reason they always used a wooden spoon even though they never told me there was a reason behind it! I love my wooden ‘paddle, spoon, spatula’ and I use it more than any other kitchen tool.

WHEW! Guess I didn’t break any unknown rules! πŸ˜†
