Good Gifting (BBB)

A most excellent holiday canned gift–Orange Marmalade. I’m in love with this stuff, and everyone I give it to raves about it, too. It’s hard to keep on the pantry shelf. But not hard to make! It takes some time, but it’s worth it.

Find the recipe for Orange Marmalade on my blog here and also at Farm Bell Recipes.

Just stumbled upon your website and I am going to enjoy it immensely. I was searching for what we called “country celery” in Pennsylvania many years ago. You could buy it in the farmer’s markets during the winter and spring and I think it involved harvesting the celery late in its season and then burying it in trenches to be dug up later. I remember the celery being almost white but oooh, so crisp and tasty. Anyone know the process for this?
