14, second from the right, at football practice.

How can there be so much going on at school when school hasn’t even started? Busy, busy, busy, everyone needs to be driven somewhere.

My life today:

September deadline
Hands flash in creative rush
Cruel sports interrupt.

Great haiku! Good luck on the writing today. :sheepjump:

Deep breath in…out. Breath in…out. Just focus on the immediate task and try not to get overwhelmed with the larger picture. (Sometimes hard to do!)

But hey, console yourself with the fact that *you* didn’t spill an entire large glass of red wine all over your open laptop last night…and all over the wall, floor, table, even the couch.

So take it one step at a time today and remember that “every day above ground is a good day.” And that if it’s not life and death, it’s OKAY.

Suzanne, don’t worry about the deadline. We all know know you will finish with time to spare, and that the book will be fantastic. :shimmy: :typing: Tell 14 to be careful the next week or so at practices. WSAZ last night said we are supposed to be in the upper 90’s for a while and some will even hit triple digits, and if it doesn’t hit 100 it will still feel that way, so plenty of water, don’t overdo it, take a break when he gets tired or cramps up. :fan: Hope everyone has a great day today. :sheepjump:

And yes, it’s supposed to be super hot this week, y’all be careful!

    poor you.
Pity we’re not running the world–that’s what I always say 🙂

    I don’t miss being a chauffer lol.

I bet you’ll meet your deadline even with the mom distractions, but writing under those circumstances definitely requires creativity. Hang in there!
