    There’s just something different about hearing and seeing everything moving; it’s even better than photos and the photos are always awesome!

    I dream of having that some day…beautiful, healthy, happy animals living the life! You’ve made a wonderful home for all of your family.

    I personally like the banjo player that follows you around everywhere. 😀 But seriously, your place is gorgeous. I can’t wait to see it this fall.

    LOL, when I read your post title I just had to read it. For the past 2 yrs I have been telling my husband I would love to have an old fashioned screen door put in cause I love the sound of it slamming shut. miss that sound actually. Great video. By the way, your kitty looks like mine. See the sidebar… https://www.tammyinwv.blogspot.com/

    I loved the video. The braying gave me my first smile of the day!

    This just personified the joys of a farm….I am also very impressed by all the green. We are in a very bad drought here.

    What a delightful video! Your farm is beautiful as are your animals!

    The slap of a screen door is a lovely sound that I remember from my childhood. Two years ago I had my husband replace the metal storm door on the entry we use most on our farmhouse with a wooden screen door just for that sound. Love it!

    Such a great way to start my day! Thank you Suzanne. You have a lovely farm, I can’t wait to see it this fall! So looking forward to meeting you and all of my “friends” at CITR :wave:

    Wonderful!!! Love it all, especially the braying! I’m thinking that was Chloe running around. She and those fences remind me of obstacle courses that horses run in competition. I’ve wanted an old fashioned screen door for years; this just might be the trigger for getting one. Hope it comes with WV music attached, then it would be perfect.

    Suzanne, I have been a follower since you first starting bloging, I was sent to your site when I was looking for something that had to do with WV. If I remember correctly Ross was just about 14. It is amazing how far you have come, especially this past year, you are to be commended, it shows what hard work and sacrifice can accomplish.
    Very nice video, I love all of the animals and aslo like the sound of a slamming screen door.

    Oh! I’d so like to visit the farm for real, but until then, the pix and videos go far to suffice. Thanks for taking the time. And great job catching the under-the-fence scoot!
    Weather has eaten the corners off my wooden screen door, I’ve had to put a plexglas shield over part of the screen to limit dog-paw damage but with all the work, I still luv my wooden screen door. Yes, even when the wind slams it shut! Gosh I just realized my building is 114 years old! {stray thought}

    PLEASE, Tell me who is the banjo player. Love it.

    When my kids were little they called the screen door…”the slam door”…and at our house that’s what it did! I never thought I would miss that sound…but I do. Thanks for the neat video.
