    This would be an invaluable resource to have on hand. I’ve borrowed an older version from my local library. Have started a full scale garden for the 1st time in over 15 years and this would be a huge help for what hopefully will be a bountiful harvest. thank you for your site, I’ve gotten so much good info so far.

    I found your website when looking for a good pepperoni roll recipe – and have spent the last hour winding my way through each page! Wonderful. We’ve moved out to the country in the northern panhandle of WV and have been gardening, baking and more. Just got chickens this spring. What a blast. No goats (yet) I’d like the bbb if I am lucky enough. Freezing and canning are becoming a part of the summer!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either.
