How to Make Honey Roasted Peanut-Chocolate Drops:

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups honey roasted peanuts
1 1/2 cups chopped peanut butter cups (about 30 mini)

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and peanut butter. Add brown sugar, sugar, baking soda, and salt; beat.
IMG_6666
Mix in eggs, milk, and vanilla, beating again. Stir in flour with a spoon. Add chocolate chips, honey roasted peanuts, and chopped peanut butter cups.
IMG_6672
Go ahead and eat a couple of peanut butter cups. You deserve it.
IMG_6667
*Hint: Put peanut butter cups in the freezer for about 30 minutes before chopping to make it less messy.

Drop dough by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350-degrees for about 10 minutes (depending on size of cookies).

Good luck not eating them ALL.

Ever notice I bake in waves? Cakes, pies, breads, cookies…..

I’m in a cookie kind of mood.

  6. Diane says:

Oh dear I was thinking at first I could use spenda in these to make them sugar free then up pops the picture of all peanutbutter cups, chocolet chips and peanuts. I do not think these could be a healthy cookie at all. But yet too good looking not to run out and buy the peanutbutter cups and peanuts and bake some today.

And I keep telling myself I need to start making healthy foods. Better for me stuff. More veggies. And then you go and bake up more goodies. What is a woman to do??

Mabe I could just lick the computer screen for a few days??

  7. CindyP says:

    These look TOO GOOD!

On another note, we’re here in New Mexico taking a weaving class! Rio Grande style blankets, pretty exciting stuff. We’re staying on a ranch here in northern New Mexico where they tell us that the price of wool is way down. They have bags of the stuff lying around, and have had to bury some of it when it bursts! Need any more wool?

OK I give up! Is there an empty cabin in the hills near you or maybe one of those abandoned outhouses. I am going to go squat oops, didn’t mean that literally, but I am going to live there and you will find me with the animals outside your porch begging for the food of the day. Blessings.

  23. Rituparna says:

Hey ! Is there any way by which I can make the honeyroasted peanuts at home? Won’t find them in India.

    • Suzanne says:

Yes, if you can get honey and peanuts, you can make them! For every cup of peanuts (not raw), mix with a tablespoon of melted butter and a tablespoon of honey then spread them out on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 5-10 minutes. Stir them up every few minutes. After you take them out, toss them with a little sprinkling of sugar and salt.

  24. cgReno says:

R U Kidding me? R U KIDDING? I know you obtained this receipe from the “Cookies you Cant Get In Hell” cookbook, Satans Private Collection. In my kitchen they would never get baked and I would need a cardiologist after consuming all that cookie dough…….
