Nibblers

With the snow melted and some warmer days upon us, the nibblers are out in force, tired of months of winter hay, enjoying any fresh green shoot of anything they can find.

Those green shoots must taste good to them :sheepjump: I can’t wait to see green grass again. Our snow is melting but there’s still so much of it. We’ll be white for a while yet. Seeing plenty of mud though :pawprint:

My “nibblers” are enclosed in a fenced-in yard. Ten of them. Assorted Buff Orpington, Australorp, RIR, light Brahma, and some I’m not quite sure what breed. They nibble on anything that hits the ground or is unlucky enough to fly or crawl into their territory.

It’s good to see all your snow melted…at least where the ‘nibblers’ are. Come on Spring!!! :hungry2:

They look happy to be outside. My chickens are thrilled to be out int he sunshine after all this winter!

I am so glad your critters are seeing some green! It must feel like going to the candy shop for them.
We are having crazy weather here too…first some snow, then sunshine, but we do have lots of green…so green it hurts your eyes! It looks much like the Emerald Isles here. And, the wildflowers are starting to pop up.
