A Young Cow

A young cow is often like a colt. A big gallumping colt. Awkward and excited and over-sized. I think Glory Bee forgot what snow was like. She was only a few months old last winter in her first snow. She was frisky today, galloping in circles!

I’ve seen the deer do that here, they get really silly, even in a rain storm! I love to watch them, but I think it would be even better to see your own cow playing in the snow! :snoopy:

Are BP and GB in the barn now also? :cowsleep:

Yvonne, because of the Big Cow Patties, I don’t let the cows in the barn proper. There is a large outdoor-access stall that is part of the barn (covered, walled) and is accessed from the barn yard without going into the barn. That is where the cows shelter.

Oh, that’s good. Thanks for explaining….I hadn’t really thought about the Big Cow Patties;)

This photo of Glory Bee and your commentary were so cheery and delightful, it made me smile. I tried sharing the photo and caption on Facebook but the text came through as gibberish. Oh well. Thanks for a wonderful site.

I love the photo of Glory Bee with the snow and your lovely new farmhouse and red barn. What a lovely way to start my morning.
