Shortcake and Zip. Not getting much action this summer because there is a piece missing off one of the saddles. I bought a new piece, and I’m waiting for someone to show up who actually knows how to put it on! But they’re looking good in the pasture, aren’t they?

Where’s Strawberry & Loc? If you had a white horse and put bonnets and dresses on them, it would create this book I read as a child. The Little Princesses, or The Three Princesses, something like that. Memory bulb just went out. :moo:

I’m sure the folks at the horse rescue place would luv to get an email with this pic. Those horses look so much improved. The speech bubbles over their heads read, “I’m glad this is our forever home. Thanks Woman Farmer, thanks.”

I haven’t come across the story of Shortcake, but I am sure I will come to it soon. I am starting to put the story of how you got where you are together, and it makes for great reading. I am wondering if you are working on another book? A lot has happened since Stringtown…I am excited for your book to come out in Oct. I know it will be a great book, but I do love a continuing story! (Sequels ALWAYS take way to long to come out, just getting a head start begging for the next hehe)
I don’t know much about horses but I know beauty when I see it and Shortcake and Zip are beautiful!

They look truly healthy and content. You have done a marvelous job. Due to economics, I no longer have my horse, and I sure do miss him. Keep up the good work!
