Snow plow going through this morning! Last week, I was wearing shorts, this week there’s a snow plow. The weather can’t make up its mind, and I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas.

As you know, I contribute to Chevy Culture, a lifestyle and auto site sponsored by Chevrolet. Latest article there is about Christmas lights. You can read it here. Please click through and read if you don’t mind–they like to see that my readers will follow me to my articles there, so I appreciate your support.

P.S. I also have a second new article up, about New Year’ Eve, and you can read that one here. Thank you!

P.P.S. Yes, there in a correction: Oglebay Resort is in Wheeling, WV, not sure how that mistake got in there, sorry about that, will see if I can get it fixed (have no control over articles once they are on the site).

Suzanne, in your Chevy Culture article, I think Oglebay Winter Festival of Lights is in West Virginia, not Pennsylvania. It’s in or near Wheeling, WV.

LOVE the snow picture! You can really see the hills and woods when snow is on the ground. I don’t believe I’ve seen that angle view of your house before. Very nice.
I like the Chevy articles too, and that we can just click to them from your site.
Glad we all made it through the end of the world! :sun:

Isn’t that the lap of luxury? The snow plow comes right by your house! I remember when there was an icy slope of a driveway, a creek and some pretty scary driving to make it to the “hard road.” What a wonderful photo.

The Chevy articles are fun to read. I’m curious as to where you find all the info for them. Is it supplied so you can write your article around it? There would be an awful lot of research otherwise. Anyway… really nice job!

That is SO pretty! Just like a Christmas card. We might get some snow here the day after Christmas but not much in the valley where I am. Up on Lookout Mt gets quite a bit and that makes for some scary roads up there. And people go crazy when they hear that word. You’d think they were going to get snowed in for months and have to eat each other. Crazy. Merry Christmas!

The first thing I thought when I saw this picture was how different your new home is compared to Stringtown Rising Farm.No such luxuries greeted your eyes on snowy mornings there.

My daughter and I won a bus tour of Oglebay a few years ago and it was amazing! Thanks for linking to Chevy Culture – I never read that before!

So glad that you are able to enjoy the luxury of snowplows 🙂

How lovely and Christmasy the snow looks. So far the weather has been mild for this time of year and we’ve had just some snow flurries. I keep hoping we’ll have at least a dusting for Christmas. To me it just doesn’t look or feel like Christmas unless there’s some of the white stuff on the ground, that’s what I’ve always been used to. I’m sure a lot of people would disagree with me because it can be a real pain to drive in and shovel. By the way, loved your two articles Suzanne, thanks for the links.
