Ready for Coco

Mar

Chloe’s looking pretty bored and lonely out there in the goat yard.

I’m bringing Coco home tomorrow. Yay! I have a really busy Friday and Saturday coming up, but I will report back on Coco when I can.

Several people have been asking me about what this structure is in the goat yard.

I believe it’s just an old raised bed, which has been partially raided for the lumber already, and I will probably raid the rest of it to use at another location. (Obviously, a raised bed being used here at some point when goats weren’t being kept in the field!)

And P.S. I say at another location because it’s not handy to build anything inside the goat yard where I have to get past goats to get to it, especially if I were to use it as part of a foundation for a chicken house. Not lugging chicken feed past pesty goats.

Seriously glad Coco is coming home. Show’s the worst is over (for Coco, for you, and for Morgan). But one question comes to mind: How you gonna get a 100 lb+, three-legged, car-skittish dog—who probably can’t/shouldn’t jump—into your car? Sorry to pry. But, been there, done that not. It’s quite a hassle.

I’m so happy Coco will come home tomorrow. Can hardly wait to see photos of Coco & Chloe together. I hope it’s love at first sight for them, but I know you must make introductions carefully. Will look forward to lots of posts about the beautiful girls.

you’re right Suzanne, Coco will be so happy to get in the car and go *home*……….just make sure she pee’s before you put her in the car!

I know there’s a reason for the separation, but little Chloe looks so sad and lonely. Don’t know that I could leave here all alone out there. Hope she and Coco strike a harmonious chord when they meet.

I don’t recall there being any real upset when Casper was introduced to Coco (and, at that time, the other dogs) so I would imagine that Coco will take to Chloe as well. I think your thoughts on how you will introduce Chloe to Coco are good. :happypuppy: :woof: :happypuppy:

:woof: Glad Miss Coco will be home today. I do not think you will have any troubles with her getting along with Chloe at all. She will be just glad to be home.

That little raised bed makes for a nice nap place for Chloe I see.

Am I the only one checking the site every hour or so for news? I can hardly wait!
