Last Minute Gift Ideas!

Recently, someone made an order for an address about 15 minutes away. Instead of shipping it, I stopped by on the way to the post office and delivered to a very sweet older lady. I really enjoyed giving the box directly to the recipient, plus when I got home, I was able to refund the shipping cost to the buyer. Who was so pleased that she placed another order for another nearby address. I delivered that box today, to a very sweet older man, who came to the door very excited to tell me that he knew who I was, he’d read my book, and he knew what was coming in the box! I talked to him for several minutes then gave him a hug and went on my way. I really enjoyed that, too! Not that I want to run around all over creation hand-delivering, but in this case, the addresses were very close, and it was very rewarding to actually give the gift directly to the recipients.

When I came home, I had this new review posted on my Etsy shop. It was from someone who had ordered pepperoni rolls as a gift. “I got these as an early Christmas present for my dad, who’s from West Virginia and loves pepperoni rolls, and he literally started crying when he opened the box. Thank you so much he loved them!” That was SO NICE. That is my favorite review EVER. When people are so happy to receive, it makes it so satisfying to create things for them.

Meanwhile, when I was at the post office today (shipping 8 packages!), I asked if they expected to be on track for priority mail deliveries next week. They told me, yes, they expected to be on schedule next week. That means I can ship through Wednesday for 3-day zones (from me), Thursday for 2-day zones, and Friday (for West Virginia locations) and still get boxes delivered before Christmas. It’s not too late to order if you’re still looking!

How about authentic West Virginia pepperoni rolls? They come in 12 large or 24 mini rolls.
