Look, I won something! Okay, it wasn’t that 365 million dollar lottery….. But hey, I’m not complaining! The Beast Within won the Reviewers’ Choice Award for Best Silhouette Intimate Moments from Cataromance! Is that fun or what?

Do you ever win anything? I never win anything. Someone pinch me. ::ouch::

    Big congratulatons on the award:bananadance:

Just last Saturday I won $400 at an American Legion Fund Raising Event (of course I won’t count how much was spent to get the win but that doesn’t count).

Congratulations, Suzanne. That book really deserved it. I really enjoyed the other ones as well. I finished both of them last week. I certainly hope you continue that series. I’m not a huge paranormal fan–especially not of vampires, wiches and the like–but someone with special abilities due to accidents or the like is definitely all right in my book(s).

Well, let’s see. I think I just won a cat-naming contest. I’ve also won a digital camera, an I-pod, other books, and sundries. My first real win was something that I wasn’t very interested in: a cabbage patch doll that was raffled off at K-mart in the heyday of that somewhat strange doll. Since the other employees kept pestering me, I finally bought a ticket and was totally stunned when I won. Now, my siblings have won oodles of things–some worth quite a bit of money. My one brother and his wife gamble for fun and even while we were on holiday won practically every night. My brother even won with a hand of cards that’s very hard to get: a straight flush or something. My sister-in-law wasn’t as exited about what he’d won as by his marvelous luck in getting that hand. 😀

And I have won some things with my abilities. More rarely and recently by luck. I always used to say, “I never win anything.” Though I don’t win the computer I’d like or some money to pay off debts, I can now say that I have won a few things: even a 50-50 Avon draw that netted me $8.50.

Congratulations! Your book deserved it! I win things on blogs frequently and I’ve won a couple times at the casino, which I rarely go to. But um, lottery? Not yet. (Guess I’d have to play to win!)

  19. Robyn says:

    Way to go Suzanne!!!
You’ve been pinched once already so I won’t do it; LOL.
I do win things but, like the others, nothing very big or not money. Shucks.

  20. TeresaH says:

    Congratulations Suzanne! You earned it!
