Oh, no!! My response exactly! What about sports? Will she be heeled (pun intended) in time to play the next game of whatever sport is on her agenda? Morgan! Were you playing games with the Crooked Little Hen?

  3. Katharina says:

Oh, I am sooo sorry, Morgan. I did the same thing from jumping off the back of the sofa (don’t ask). Purple, swollen foot? Lots of pain? Cast it or wrap it, put it up, ice it and rest. Young bones heal well. God bless you and heal you quickly.

  4. Liz in Wis says:

OH NO! So sorry. Morgan, I do hope you heal quickly. Maybe your mom will keep us posted.

  5. Sara says:

Oh dear I do hope that Morgan heals fast :fairy: and does not slip on snow and Ice with the cruches.

  20. Barbee' says:

We’re seeing lots of crutches and casts of different kinds around here, but I think they are results of ice and snow. Poor Morgan, all cooped up with energy to burn equals crazy broken foot! Well, Suzanne, at least it wasn’t her neck!

  21. debbie says:

Oh, no! The poor thing. Her team is going to really miss her. Maybe she can make up for come, I’m guessing, soccer season, or does some other sport come first?

  22. Chic says:

Poor Morgan!!!! I hope you heal up quickly and you’re back on the court again before the season is over. My daughter broke her femur when she was 12..spent 2 months in traction in a hospital 90 miles from us (lots of driving back and forth on mountain roads)..then 2 months in a body cast(but home) …then months of physio where we actually bent the mend so she had to have surgery nearly a year after the break to get a rod put in. Not a good year for her or us but we made it through. Thank goodness it was only your foot…but that’s bad enough when it keeps you from what you love to do best. Hang in there Morgan!

  23. Michele Messier says:

So sorry, well this may be an opportunity to do more crafts and cooking with mom, maybe even some writing. She is young and should heal fast give her lots of vitamins and minerals. She is so pretty! :happyflower: :happyflower: :happyflower: :happyflower: :happyflower:

  24. kerri says:

Oh poor Morgan! That must be painful, and I’ve heard crutches are difficult to maneuvre and not the most comfortable things. I do hope she heals quickly.

  25. Blessings says:

Oh I remember those days with my own girls! One of whom was practicing jumping and tried watching herself in a wall mirror and when she jumped kicked the wall so hard she broke all her toes. That was just phase 1 of the antics that daughter pulled that sent her to the ER. By the time high school was over the ER and Doctors knew her by name. I kid you not!
    Good Luck!

  26. Aedrielle says:

    Poor Morgan!!
I must say, though, she looks simply gorgeous in this picture!! Did she grow up overnight?!?! Where’s the little girl face??
Well I hope she heals up quick!!

  29. BuckeyeGirl says:

    Dear Morgan,
I’m sorry you’re feeling under the weather, (that is to say, limpy and gimpy). I sure hope you heal quickly and get the cast off soon. Tell your mother to make Clover, Annabelle, Jack, DrJeckyll/MrHyde and all the others leave you alone and not make fun of your crutches or cast.
Do take care and listen to Dr’s orders lest you are forced to keep that annoying lump of plaster on longer than expected!
    BuckeyeGirl

Oh NO! Tell her I can so relate….I began exercising hard on the treadmill since New Years and last week my right foot began to ache…turns out I have a fractured right foot from it all! (That’s what I get for exercising!) Wearing a soft removable foot cast now for two to four weeks. Sigh.
