I just had to add my 2c when I saw this picture….you said…”we’ll see what happens”….don’t expect good things in this situation…
…looks like other chickens are adding more eggs – there’s way too many here….. 10-12 should me the norm….she’ll move around trying to cover them ALL, exposing some others which already were growing inside. I would be surprised if any at all hatch. In the future, if you don’t separate a brooding hen from other layers, you should mark the original doz, and then check for additional fresh ones and take them away…..good luck
