I bought 52 a cow bell for Christmas never thinking he would REALLY go out and buy me a cow! Beulah Petunia is wearing a halter now with that cow bell–part of the six ways to Sunday we’re locking her down in her stanchion.

Now you are going to need a barn for winter and not just for the Now you need a massive hay storage area. You can’t get snowed in and have no hay for a girl that big. See what a cow bell leads too…. LOL

Our Beulah Petunia’s got bling-bling! Maybe B.P. is like me in that, if I don’t move about, I begin to hurt. Standing still for a spell could do it, but you will get faster and all will be well – eventually. She looks mighty pretty all dolled up. Any minute now, Clover will notice, and then there will be trouble with a capital T!

Oh, my! I bought a cow bell for my Mom when she was 100 so she could ring it when she needed me! She loved cows, and always talked about how she kissed her cow growing up on the PA farm. Love the sound of that bell!!! :cowsleep:

Do you think if I bought my husband a ‘chick feeder’ he’d get the idea? Or maybe a bridle and saddle – NO, never mind – knowing him he’d probably think it meant something else! LOL

I love the sound of cow bells and I think they get used to the idea of it, and you always know where she is .

Growing up with my Grandparents one of my favorite memories is laying in bed on hot summer nights with my head by the window so I could catch a breeze and hearing the whip-o-wills and the cow bells on the cows as they chewed their cud or grazed. That sound clung clung clung along with the night sounds of the whip-o-wills and other critters lulled me to sleep many a night. Gotta love the cow bell!
By the way I have grown to love you blog. I grew up on a farm not far from where you are. You are causing me to start missing it. You sure are bringing back a lot of memories – I am missing a lot of the old folks too.

Maybe you need a sheep bell for Mr. Cotswold so he can’t sneak up behind you again!

Well, of course! You can’t have a cow without a cow bell.
She is a very pretty girl!

The lovely lady has a necklace! Have you told her how good it looks on her?
I think Donna has a great idea about belling Mr Cotswold.
