One of the strays around here got stuck on a roof in the rain one time and we had to use a ladder and get it down. The cat was then dubbed “Roof-us” or Rufus…we found out she was girl when she had kittens, but the name stuck.
Is that Max? How long has he been up there? Actually, he will come down when he is ready. It’s that cat independence thing. He knows you don’t want him up that high, therefore…up he goes.
I guess then the cat was that not too biggish blob about an inch from the top and almost two from the right-hand side of the photo. Sure looks small. It must be a huge old tree.
Glad he got safely down. I guess it’s that independence thing. Never having had a cat, I wouldn’t really know what to do or why they do things like this.

He’ll come down when he’s ready. Don’t you go up to get him or we’ll have to call the fireboys. Hmmm….okay, get up there. :wigglebrow:

Is that a cat up there or a nest?
I have four cats and I’m pretty sure only one of them could manage half that climb. Good thing they’re cute.

No, it’s not Max! It’s another one of the male black farmcats. He finally came down. Whew.
But it would have been nice if a cute fireboy had come by first….
