Gwennie likes to start her day with a little coffee while she catches up on the news. Gives her something to talk about over a good deer leg when she goes outside to do chores!

Don’t you love using up the deer carcass? My yard looks like a deer wreck! Happy dogs, though!

Be sure to ask any hunters you know for any antlers they don’t want, either shed antlers later in the year or one’s from their hunting. Antlers (cut up into chunks, possibly with the tips cut off the points) are great for dogs to chew on and they love them! No splintering, minerals for the dog, and great for their teeth. Cost big bucks (pun intended) in pet stores!

Those antlers can also be cut with a scroll saw for nice buttons. Do wear a face mask. The dust smells bad, and there are potential bacterial infections if you inhale it. I started coughing blood about 3 days after spending a few hours cutting antlers. Bacterial infection from residual ‘stuff’ in the antlers. But, I now have a nice collection of buttons which I worked on with the dremel tool after cutting.

Chores? It looks more like she is waiting for her pedicure ROFL! Also, I think she needs another pillow.

That couch looks like it was made for her. I think I should join her for cookies and coffee. I could use a rest before chores.
