Punxsutawney Dookie reports that he did not see his shadow and spring is near!
Oh wait, it’s not Groundhog Day. And with all that hair, Dookie can’t see much anyway…. But it is that “spring forward” with the clocks day. The illusion of extra sleep given over to us by the gods (or the government) in the fall is cruelly snatched away. I have TOO MUCH TO DO in a twenty-four-hour day and now I get a twenty-three-hour one?
I certainly don’t want to give up anything fun in my weekend with that lost hour. Particularly sleep. I’m thinking I should give up laundry, or dishes, or–I know! Working on my, I mean my daughter’s, social studies project! What about you? What is on your weekend plate that you’d rather not do and can now excuse accomplishing due to that lost hour? Rebel with me! That’ll teach the government to mess with our sleep cycles! Oh, wait, they probably don’t care. But I do–post a note and one random commenter will get to choose their autographed pick from my contemporary backlist!

I’d rather not pack all these books for my move to FL but I can’t wait to get out of here :snoopy: so I guess I’ll deal. Yes, we’re packing the books ’cause :rambo: the last movers ruined a stack of autographed ones. Plus I don’t like strange people handling my books! I’m the only strange person I want handling them. ๐ Wish I could snap my fingers like Samantha from BEWITCHED. :flying:
๐ฏ 20 boxes of books…so far. That should be your next Friday book contest, Suz. Have everyone guess how many boxes I end up with.

Hey, I like that idea! So don’t tell yet how many you end up with! We can do it next Friday! How many boxes of books does a romance fan have in her house?

Shari C says:
Oh,oh! I can’t imagine how many boxes I would fill with all my books…and I don’t want to have to find out…too much work if I ever had to pack them all. Since I have all my wonderful stories in several different places it seems like I have less than what I know is actually there…makes me feel better somehow…ha,ha.
Well, I guess if I have one less hour today, some of the housework will not get done…oh, I am so sad…yeah, sure. I can’t possibly give up any of my fun or enjoyable moments…right.

I’d rather not spend the weekend re-installing all the software I lost when I had to reformat my hard drive last weekend. It died without giving me any indication that it was even sick. ๐ That’ll teach me to back up my computer. Probably not, though. I’m a slow learner in that respect. I always have to learn the hard way. Have a good weekend everyone and hope you had a wonderful birthday, Teresa!

Depends on how big the boxes are lol Darn those things are heavy. I’m guessing I’m really going to lose out on sleep ๐ฅ but giving up any kind of housework would be a plus ๐

I’d rather not spend the weekend shoveling snow from the steps, but it keeps falling from the roof, a little bit at a time.

I think I’ll give up laundry. My kids can run around the house nude, it’s warm enough (barely).

I’ll have to give up an hour on the computer, shucks anyways. What will I do when I can’t spend the hour? I’ll have to forfeit some blogs or some cruising around.

A big whoops, I read the question wrong.
I’d rather not do the washing of floors that I should do, shucks anyways. They’ll have to wait!!!

I would leave all the garage cleanup to another nice, sunny and warmer day. It can wait until real Spring arrives.
