The Princess Speaks

Happy Labor Day! Indulgent mother that I am, when the Princess asked if she could write a post for my blog, I told her yes. She, of course, wanted to talk all about animals. Here it is:

“Hi, this is Princess and I want to write about Butterbutt A.K.A Buttercup. He likes to be the number 1 cat around here but get him in the room with Callie and the fur starts flying. Of course Butterboo wins because he is so HUUUUUUUUUGGGEEE! And Callie even being a full grown cat is still very skinny and small so she doesn’t stand a chance but Mush A.K.A Spice isn’t even full grown and she is so very fat for a 1 yr old. She’s sweet but Butterbobo and Dookie hate one another and they are the exact the same height and weight and Dookie is a DOG! Buttercup got a booboo so a chunk of fur is missing. If you got any questions you can tell my mom that you have a question for me and she’ll tell me that I got a question but bye!”

Ok, so you’re saying Butterbutt, um I mean Buttercup, is the biggest cat on the farm? He certainly looks tough enough.

  2. leanne says:

Well Princess, I think Buttercup can definately hold his own, so I would call him #1. :purr: We have a cat named Callie too, and she’s our #1. Hope you’re having a good time in Jr. High, or Middle school, whatever it is now a days. As for Suzanne, I ordered my new batch of Oct. books Sat. on eHarlequin. Yea!!!! Can’t wait to get started on Hero’s Redemption. :snoopy: Hope everyone has a great day today, happy Labor Day everyone.

    Leanne :cattail: :friday:
ps. hey princess, where do you guys come up with your cat names?????

  3. Tori Lennox says:

Those are some weird animals on that list! I have friends who used to own an angora rabbit. We called it the Rabbit From Outer Space. *g*

  4. Susan says:

Hi Princess! I have a cat named Callie too. My Callie is about 5 years old and is tiny, but that doesn’t stop her from taking on Shadow, who is at least three times her size (he’s a Ragdoll). The funny thing is she always comes out the winner! :catmeow:

  5. Estella says:

I also have a cat named Callie. She is 17 years old, and can still hold her own with the neighbor cats.

  6. catslady says:

Great blog Princess. I totally understand the dynamics you’re talking about since I have 7 cats. The oldest is 16 and the youngest 4 months so quite a bit of all that stuff going on and I don’t have a cat named Callie 😆

  7. Brandy says:

    Hi Princess, you’re absolutely gorgeous!
As we have 7 indoor cats, there is always a takeover planned, and the biggest cat does not win. Our terror is the smallest cat we have who more than makes up for it in attitude!

Have a great Labor Day and Stuff on My Cats is a funny site to visit as well.

  8. Fannie M Wiggins says:

Hi Princess. I can see that you are going to be an awesome writer like your Mom. You would also be a good vet with your love of animals. You chose some really different names but I admit I like Dookie for the dog. 😆 Cats always fight but they stand together agains dogs. You take care of the pets and yourself. Have a great day and  to all. Thanks for the book.

  9. Suzanne says:

    Princess speaks:

Alice: Yeah he is definitely the biggest house cat I have ever seen so yes he is the biggest cat on the farm. :woof:

Leanne: I was 6 yrs old when we found Buttercup and I was watching the Powerpuff girls and he seemed mean so that’s how we got Buttercup. I’m not sure where the cousins came up with Callie and even though Spice is my cat my mom named her but I still call her Mush. :snoopy:

Tori: What’s an Angora rabbit?

  10. Suzanne says:

    Princess speaks:

Susan: Your Callie sounds so cute I hope she will always win. :cattail: :cattail:

Estella: That sounds like a cat that I would not like to get in front of if she’s that strong. :rambo:

Catslady: You are amazing if you can stand 7 cats. Are they all inside? 😮

Brandy: You too are amazing considering each cat wants to be petted. Doesn’t that drive you insane?

Fannie: Dookie isn’t his actual name and I don’t know if this will make sense to you because it doesn’t make sense to me but his actual name on his papers is Sir Edwards Jeffries. So I really don’t know why we call him Dookie but if you do tell me please. :friday:

    :elephant:

  11. Fannie M Wiggins says:

I can just hear you coming into the house and call “Here Sir Edward Jeffries”. You would never get him to answer to that. Dookie works better. My Siberian hushy was registered as “Quinn’s Refined Ruffian” Call him that and he’d run away. Call him Ruffie and he’s give you a bath with his tongue. Dogs are funny that way. What we call them lets them know we love them, so keep on calling him Dookie. Take care.

  12. Kim A. says:

    Hi Princess!

I loved reading about all your cats; thank you! Post about them anytime. 🙂

I currently have two cats, Annie (who is about 7 years old and very cranky with any other cats) and Nicki, who is 11 months old and a real sweetie. Very sociable! Plus I still miss my Chumley, who died unexpectedly (blood clot) back in January of this year. He was my first adoptee.

At some point I would like to adopt a third, which will make life in my house even more “interesting” than it is now, with Annie’s snarly attitude. LOL!

  13. catslady says:

Princess – yes, the seven are all inside. I also take care of ferals/strays outside. 3 have been with me for 10 years (female and I had them fixed after I realized how many kittens they were having). At the moment I have 2 male ferals but that number changes since the males come and go. :catmeow:

  14. Suzanne says:

    Princess speaks:

Fannie: Your dog sounds awesome. Keep me posted on how he’s doing ok. Bye! :woof: :snoopy:

Kim: We have a ton of cats so I’m sure you will be reading a lot more about them. In fact how about I ask my mom if I can do a post a couple times a month about the cats. Hope your life is interesting and sorry about Chumley. Bye!

    Catslady: Wow, dude, awesome. :shimmy:

  15. Roxanne Belue says:

    Hello Princess,
I am glad to see that you are writing. I like your blog on cats. You know I love cats. Your Buttercup looks a lot like my Mensa. Keep on writing. I know you have a lot of talent.

  16. Suzanne says:

    Princess speaks:

Hi Miss Belue: How’s Mensa? And I don’t think that I have a lot of talent but thanks. :butterfly: :sheepjump: :friday: :shimmy: :fan: :: :elephant: :typing: :snoopy: :woof: :clock:  😕 😆 🙂   :bananadance:  :weather: :hellokitty: :purr: :catmeow: :cattail: :cowsleep: :chicken:   :hissyfit: :rotfl: :whip: :cold: :friday: :friday: :friday:

Is that not the CUTEST face in the world! Princess is a great writer…takes after her mom! Maybe Princess will follow in mom’s footsteps! I love the nickname “butterbutt” because we call my parakeet (Petey) little names too like “little butt”, “stinky”, “stinky butt”…all affectionately, of course!
