This whole blog post will make no sense if you haven’t been reading my blog for awhile……….. Remember the rooster? Well, he’s gone…but not forgotten!!! The other day, Fannie emailed me this note, and generously gave me permission to share it. (You all are so funny sometimes. Thank you always for your daily comments that entertain me so much!!)
From Fannie: “You almost got me carted off to the nut farm today. There I am in Wal-Mart, minding my own business, doing some major shopping. I went around the corner and there they were, decorative roosters. I am standing there looking and it popped into my head, I don’t have my rooster repellant. At that point, I lost it. I was laughing so hard, there were tears running down my cheeks. The department manager was called and wanted to call the paramedics. I finally stopped laughing long enough to tell her the story and she lost it also. I just wanted to let you know that you got a new reader in her. You never know what’s going to happen when you leave the safety of your home, but I know one thing, I’ll never leave without my rooster repellant again.”
If you read this post and this post and that post, it might help if you are wondering what we’re talking about!:rotfl: I wish I could have seen Fannie in the store that day!
And news……. This spring, the rooster pen is being transformed into a rabbit hutch! Yes! We’re getting bunnies for a 4-H project!! I CAN’T WAIT!!
I’m sure they will be quieter than that damn rooster!!

Luckily it was the Walmart. They are prepared for those type of “incidents.”
Heaven forbid it was the Target. They frown upon unrestrained hilarity there.
Don’t Ask. 😳
Bunnies *are* cute. And mean. I’d watch my fingers if I were you.
Juuuust kidding! :rotfl:

Melissa, you would need to go back to Christmas shopping time to read abbout the rooster and Cousin Sheryl. It’s funny what sticks in your brain and comes out when you least expect it. Good luck with the bunnies, Suz. They have to be better than that rooster.
