Delicious Lunch

This is what I had for lunch in Morgantown. It was a sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, and mozzarella meat roll. It was delicious. As tired as I was by the time I got home yesterday, I started some dough and recreated this roll, making eight, to serve for dinner.

Morgan gobbled these right up. As good as the one at the restaurant was, I think mine was better!

Looks absolutely amazing!! I now feel inspired to create a version of this myself. My fiance would go nuts over something like that, especially with homemade marinara on the side for dipping.

  2. Sue, a Florida Farm Girl says:

Of course yours was better! With all those homemade ingredients (bread, cheeses, etc.), how could it not be??

Looks delish! I would hate to calculate the WW points…but I would give it a try…maybe turkey sausage and turkey pepperoni?

Omg, that looks awesome! Hmm, got some sourdough starter fermenting overnight, might just have to make these instead of plain bread.

Hey Suzanne, we were interviewed yesterday by the NY Times; apparently the volunteers who helped us get all of my daughter’s stuff moved into her dorm room in like 2.3 seconds were part of a publicity stunt for the store, American Eagle Outfitters. Did AEO do this at WVU?
