I posted recently about removing a couple of satellite dishes from the yard. They weren’t being used and they were 1) unattractive and 2) something to mow around. So they were pulled out. But there were also a couple of smaller satellite dishes on the roof of the front porch.
They were also not being used and I always thought they took away from the old-fashioned charm of my little white farmhouse.
And now they’re gone, too!

Did you save the satellite dish? You might want to make one of the awesome chicken coops, with a satellite dish roof. Just saw this pop up on Pinterest the other day.
BTW- love your posts ❤️

That looks so much nicer, those dishes are so very ugly, we have one and I hate it, you with think there woul be a more arrtactive and much smaller dish, but I guess it is the price we have to pay
Your home looks lovely.

Love it Suzanne! I never understand why people leave those huge round ones in their yards unused. The chicken coop roof sounds like a dandy idea for one of those! I almost wish I had one but I already have five chicken coops. Do I really need a sixth?

My husband had no rest until he removed the one from the yard of our cottage. I think he had someone there the next day to rip out the pad (it had a large concrete foundation).
I am glad he hates the looks of the little ones, which is the only reason we don’t have Dish Network. (I don’t want the cost)

So do you have cable out your way? Just wondering. I don’t have cable TV, myself….not that I live way out in the boondocks, I just don’t choose to pay for TV.

No, we don’t have a cable option here. I do get DSL for internet, but I have one satellite dish for TV. The other satellite dishes, I wasn’t using, they were from previous owners, so those are the ones I got rid of.
