I have takers! There will be a cheesemaking and soapmaking day here at Sassafras Farm on Saturday, November 3. I’m giving a price break on this workshop–it will be $100 for the day. This includes a farm breakfast, two workshops (cheesemaking and soapmaking), lunch, and a farm tour. You will chow down on your own cheese and take home your own soap–and a skill to make holiday gifts for your friends and family! We’re gonna have a blast–join us!

Where exactly are you located in WV? I heard that you had moved so I want to be sure. If I don’t make it to this one-I would love to get some friends together and come another time. I am from Williamsburg, Virginia, but we have a camp in Mineral County, WV where my Father in Law grew up. Coming to your farm and learning how to make soap and cheese sounds like so much fun and I would really love to see the farm and animals!! Especially those sweet donkeys!! I love your site and have been reading it faithfully for only about two months now. You now have another faithful follower! You are living the life of my dreams!! :0)

It’s next Saturday, so should be fine. We aren’t expecting much where I am anyway.
