Merry, merry Christmas from–

Clover: “Excuse me.”

“I did not agree to participate in this event.”

“I refuse to be humiliated in this way.”

“It’s not in my contract.”

“You aren’t the boss of me.”

“I am not wearing this hat.”

“I said, I am not wearing this hat!”

“I’ll get you for this.”

We now return to our regularly scheduled virtual Christmas card.

Merry, merry Christmas from all of us at Stringtown Rising Farm!

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

I’m surprised she didn’t eat the hat! Next year I expect to see her in tights and a complete elfin costume. I’m up way too late, I looked at those eggs and thought the pioneer woman had left you a special Christmas surprise.
Love your blog, wish I lived on the Stringtown Estate.

She almost looks as tho’ she is smirking, as if she is going to EAT that damn hat the minute you let her loose.

Clover looks sooo cute! She looks like she’s grown up overnight. Has her fur gotten thicker with the winter and I missed it? Ahhh kids! Er, goats.
