I Feel Like That Sometimes

Little was doing the dishes and got so tuckered, he had to sit down and take a nap right then. I hope he’s gonna finish the job when he wakes up!

I’m going to have a talk with my cat, Sudie. If Little can help with the dishes, I think Sudie could help me, at least every now and then. Hope Little finished the job when her nap was over.

Little is so adorable. But it’s a good thing for the hinges that Little is little and not a big heavy cat!

“Oh that’s ok Mom, I’m sure you can just walk around me while I nap here. I’m not in the way, am I?”
    Don’t you just love cats?

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
