We are home. We got in yesterday evening. Weston drove about a third of the way each day and WE SURVIVED.
Thank you so much for all your kind words and support and understanding. I appreciate it so much. I’ll be back to posting regularly tomorrow.

Welcome home! I know it will be hard for quite a while as you have memory flashes of your Mom, but they will bring smiles to your faces. I know that from experience!
I’m sure the critters were all glad to have you back, and that Clover is probably expecting you to have a souvenir for her! :purpleflower:

i’m sorry to hear about your mother
i always liked the saying, “though we sadly say good-bye, there are those in a far more beautiful place waiting to say hello”

Welcome back home! Congratulations to Weston for driving so much on such a long trip. My son is 17 and after a couple of hours driving he gets so sleepy we have to swap drivers. Glad to have you back safe and sound. Clover and BP have missed you as much as we have I am sure.

You may want to let everything non-essential go for a couple of days while you re-adjust to being home again; we’ll be here when you’re ready.
Big virtual hugs to a woman whose intrepidity and cheerful outlook have long inspired me ~
