I bet you’ll ‘halter’ her attitude now! ๐Ÿ˜†

  4. Bev says:

Miss “B” is NOT happy. Just show her who is the boss, and soon she will be eating out of your hand!!! :devil2:

  5. Jan in Maine says:

Wish I was there to see this!

Would love to have been here to watch LOL!

  10. Cheryl LeMay says:

FINALLY!!! She is so beautiful-you can’t let her grow up wild.

  11. Vera McPike says:

What an absolutely beautiful animal! (Though she probably thinks she is human if she is anything like my pets LOL!) Congrats on the harnessing!

  12. bonita says:

    Suzann’s illustrated dictionary: “balky!”

  13. whaledancer says:

So are you ready to take up rodeo calf roping now?

LOL, look at that body language! You don’t have to be the Calf Whisperer to know she’s resisting this with every fiber of her bovine body. Doesn’t she remind you of a two-year-old who’s finally been restrained from being naughty?

  14. Cousin Sheryl says:

    WooHoo!!!! :woof: :snoopy:

  15. hershiesgirl says:

Even though she is really cute, she does NOT look happy. ๐Ÿ™‚

  16. Melissa Duncan says:

    Poor Baby…

  17. Laurie says:

Reminds of a cute little story…

Mom to 2 year old son: “Sit down, right now.”
Son, reluctantly sitting: “I might be sitting on the outside but I STANDING UP on the inside!”

I think that sweet thing is NOT happy either.

  18. Sherie Adams says:

    You go girl! Congratulations!!!!!!! :woof:

  19. marymac says:

That is a beautiful Stink Eye if I ever saw one!!

  20. texwisgirl says:

Hurray! Poor Glory Bee. The beginning of a tame life… ๐Ÿ™‚

  21. judydee says:

I knew you could do it!!! Just pet her, and pet her, and pet her. She’ll be okay. This encouragement from one who has absolutely no experience with cow babies, only human ones, and those not of my own either! BUT, I have faith in you!!!

  22. Carol Langille says:

That baby has the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen on a calf! Glory be, Glory Bee is wrangled!

  23. skippymom says:

She looks scared. Poor thing. But such is the life – it is in her best interest. [I don’t get all the stink eye comments, she doesn’t look mad to me at all – must be the eyes.]

  24. Brenda says:

Looks like she’s thinking she should have zigged when she zagged, lol. Such a sweet baby.

  25. Ulrike says:

But did you get your hair braided?

  26. Barbie says:

The kids (5 of them) showed Holstein calves for 4-H, they all started out wild-eyed. They were sooo gentle as they became used to the halter, and were easy to milk when the time came. Hang in there, Suzanne, GB will be loving being loved!!

  27. Barbie says:

The calves were wilded, not the kids (mostly)!

  28. Shelley (eastern Roane County) says:

Congratulations! Now the fun begins! Wait until Glory Bee discovers COOKIES!

  29. Vicki in So. CA says:

Yay! Great job. Is that a little milk mouth I see? Uh huh. Caught her while she was nursing, didn’t you? Oh, what a dirty (but clever) trick!
    Suzanne: :woof:
    Glory Bee: :hissyfit:

  30. Quietstorm says:

ooooohhhhh! She does NOT look happy….

  31. skippymom says:

Suzanne I just wanted to come back and tell you that I went to take a nap and left my computer on for my beloved husband to use – and when I awoke I saw that he had discovered your blog [you’re on my blogroll] and he was getting the biggest kick out of all the animal pictures.

[He started with this one] I think a calendar is in his future. You don’t by chance still sell the Clover one too, do you? He is quite taken with her – as are we all.

  32. andrea pierce says:

She has the most beautiful eyes! I’ve never thought cows were cute but she is just the prettiest little thing!
