C’mon, c’mon, stop looking at me.
You can’t look at me, either.
Now you’re both looking at me! Stop it!
There you go. Almost there….
Good enough. Let’s try something else.
Profile, Mr. Dorset.
Profile, Mr. Suffolk.
You’re kinda the scary one, aren’t you?
Don’t look at me like that. This is important. I’ve got something for you when we’re done.
C’mon!!!!
Get it together!
Not that together!
You can do it. You’ve got Olympic gold medalists written all over you!
There you go.
Now to the left.
A 10! A perfect score!!!!
You could crack a smile. You guys could use a sense of humor, you know.
What did the cloned sheep say to the other sheep? I am ewe.
Did you think you were going to get a real medal? I’m sorry. This is all I’ve got.
Wait! I’ve got more! Well, not more like a medal. Forget that!
When a sheep is rammed, does it become ewes’d?
There were these two sheep, see, and one of them walked into a baaa–
ACK!!!!! Baaa-bye!!!!

Maybe they’d co-operate better for a cookie? :sheep:

This is off topic but I just got the magazine “Living the Country Life” (February 09 issue). It has an adult Coco on the front! Great Pyrenees dogs are their cover story. They also mention a special t.v. program on the dogs on RFD-TV – I’m sure it’s listed on their website. Plus the website has cute, cute pics of puppies — you can check it out at https://www.livingthecountrylife.com Also, if you want my copy of the magazine when I’m finished, let me know and I’ll put it in the mail to you. P.S. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your blog!

Matthew Burns says:
This post reminds me of the time an old man that lived down the road from us when I was growing up, took it upon himself to try and get my Aunt Amy to marry him. He was at least 40 years older than her, and why he thought she’d want him was beyond me. Anyway, he’d come to visit my granddad every evening just so he could be near my Aunt Amy. One evening, he got brave enough to make her aware of his intentions, he looked over at my Aunt and said, “Amy, I want a sheep sandwich.” My Aunt Amy, being polite, asked, “What is that?” He replied, “Two pieces of bread with Ewe between ’em”.
She quickly told him, “We’ll that aint gonna happen, we are all out of bread!”
Your posts remind me so much of the humor and times we had on the mountain when I was a kid.
Keep up the great work,
Matthew

Oh, Suzanne, this was absolutely delightful! So glad you got the rams’ cooperation – must have taken days of practice! I’m especially grateful that this post did not include cooking – I’d much rather laugh than clean more drool off my keyboard. :sheep:

Animals are so sweet! Your sheep pictures these past two days have been so cute!!! I sure hope that you are having fun!!!
There aren’t very many sheep where I live (SW Iowa). We mostly have cows :moo: , corn, and beans. There are a lot of :reindeer: deer, foxes, and rabbits here as well. (they like crossing the road at the wrong times though, :hissyfit: )
I’m glad you are having fun!!

I am ewe … good one! I know this has nothing to do with your post, but I wanted to write and thank you so much for sharing your recipe for Italian Style Tomato Sauce. And a ‘thank you’ to Georgia for sharing her recipe for meatballs. Made them tonight and am so stuffed I can hardly move. On a scale of 1-10, I give you both a big 50! I know, but it was just that good! I also took some upstairs to my elderly neighbor, Andy. I always share with him anytime I make a large meal. I gave him enough to have a few more meals by just heating everything up. He was delighted to get it! And if I know him, and I do, he’s gonna LOVE it!
So again, Suzanne and Georgia, thank you from the bottom of our warm little tummies. ๐ xxoo
