Hmmm

What am I doing? Take a guess. (I’ll post about it later this week. Coco’s involved…. And water. And 52. And and and!)

But even more importantly, am I wearing shorts or did I just post a picture of myself not wearing pants?

It looks to me like you are making wreaths from what I would guess to be wild grapevine . . .

  2. Kelleh says:

I think you totally just posted a picture of yourself without pants. You only WANT us to think that you’ve got on shorts! I see through you woman!

But that’s okay, because awesome people don’t need pants!

    :snoopy:

p.s. See!? Not even Snoopy finds pants useful enough to wear.

p.p.s. I’m not wearing any pants while I’m leaving this comment.

  3. Terry says:

I’m guessing no pants. That’s not a problem since you live so far off the paved road. Are you making a grapevine wreath or basket? By the way…..what are the chickens doing today?

    Take care, Terry

  4. jan n tn says:

You don’t need to wear pants…you live in the woods -like Jane of Tarzan. Guess what, she didn’t wear pants either.

  5. Stephanie says:

I’d say you’re making that grapevine wreath… without any pants on.

  6. Patty says:

You’re totally not wearing pants. I wish I lived somewhere I could go outside pantless! I think that might be kudzu you are stripping. Going to make a basket? Don’t know how Coco would be involved though. Can’t wait to find out!
How are the chickens? And How is 52??

  7. Carolyn A. says:

You are totally making wreaths. xxoo

  8. Rita says:

I’m thinking your making a vine something arother maybe a wreath. I could be so wrong. I could be right! =)
    Have a great day!

  9. Julie i says:

You’re making either a grapevine wreath or a garland to go around the front door. :hellokitty:

  10. Shari C says:

I think you are probably making wreaths, but you were so anxious to start your project you forgot to put your pants on. No big problem since you live way out in the country… right. Now, back to what those chickens are doing and what is Coco up to?

  11. Gizmo says:

    I think you’re making a mess. A decorative mess, but nonetheless….. :rotfl:
I sure hope you wear pants when company comes to visit. :bananadance:

  12. jenn says:

    Pants are seriously overrated.

  13. wkf says:

Your’e making grapevine wreaths in your underwear.
    Ahhh Country living!!

    :flying:

  14. Suzette says:

Looks like a bower to me.

    I know! I know!

It will be one of those arches that people stand under to get married. You and 52 are getting married! Next to the duck pond. And Coco will be ring bearer.

    Am I even close?

  15. Lisa L says:

Definitely no pants – you are making a grapevine doggie toy?

  16. Will says:

I’m guessing it’s a wreath for a gift. Branch pants are really, really itchy so I ruled that out from the get go.

  17. MMHONEY says:

RUN FOR COVER….. HERE COMES THE METERMAN.

  18. Beckynsc says:

You are untangling yourself from the vine that someone tied you up in when they stole your pants.

  19. anne says:

You are making vine wreaths. Maybe for holiday gifts.

    Anne from PA

  20. Kathryn says:

You are making grapevine baskets to hold all the goodies Coco is dragging in as presents.

How are the chickens? I was thinking about them yesterday! A friend gave us two dozen eggs, all perfectly beautiful shades of blue and green. Her hens have decided to really start laying, and she is inundated with eggs all of a sudden. The slacker things were just not measuring up to par, so she says she took a cookbook out to the chicken yard and read them a recipe for a nice baked hen! 😆

  21. MARY says:

:butterfly: Hey, at least you don’t live in the city where you can get locked out in a tiny nightgown, then have to send your eight year old child across the street for a large knife to get back in!!!!! LOL! I KNOW you’re not wearing pants!!! But that is the beauty of living in the stix!! I’d like a grapevine wreath, please! Have a great day! :treehugger:

  22. Fannie M Wiggins says:

Pants are not a requirement but optional. At least you are on the porch and can dive inside if people show up. I remember me and hubby getting caught out away from the house in just our undies and a car load of lost tourists pulled up. We had an inch thick little pine tree to hide behind. Hubby gave them directions and they went on their way. I was so embarassed. So how are the chickens? Spartacus doing okay? Have a great day and  to all.

  23. Pam says:

A grape vine collar and leash for Coco?

  24. Nancy says:

Let’s see, Coco decided to make the duck pond bigger and dragged some vines up on the porch and you, being the wondrously creative person that you are, decided to immediately make something out of them. But you were having coffee on your porch at the time – without pants, of course, because who would bother on a great country morning? – and didn’t have time to dress. You rock!!! :purr:

  25. Kelly Myers says:

Your are making a grapevine tree and coco is first in line for his gift! Or you could be making a wreath. Either way- WAY COOL!

The pants? Could go either way on that. They are over rated and 52 may be the only one who can vouch for you either way…

  26. Kacey says:

Not a clue, but it kind of looks like the mess Ike left on my back deck…

  27. Heidi says:

you are making pantless wreaths out of wild grape vine baby!!! LOL

  28. Angie says:

I think you’re weaving a pair of grapevine PANTS. At least I hope so because I think I hear Georgia coming up the road! OR, perhaps you’re making wings to do this: :flying: In which case, pants will just weigh you down.

  29. Crystal B. says:

I think you are making a wreath.

  30. Abiga/karen says:

With all the other comments I am speechless as to what else to add. And I have no idea what you are doing. I am glad the torrential rains have stopped here and the basement can drain. Blessings.

  31. annie d. says:

Ypu’re wearing shorts, which are like pants sort of, if you are short legged like Dookie, then they ARE pants. You are grapevining something.

  32. Mim says:

My guess is… a basket to be used as a bed by Coco.

  33. Marissa says:

It looks like you are trimming grapevines possibly to soak and then shape into the grapevine shape you want for a wreath. Are you making a large on to attached to porch or front of house or garage?
    Marissa

  34. Claudia W. says:

My first thought when you said Coco was involved was that she had gone and dragged all these vines up onto your porch. Which would actually be cool, cause now I see you doing something special with them. As for 52 being involved, hmmm…I think he is just interested in anything you do, so that involves him.

  35. Birdi says:

Just because you said that others were around…I think you are probably wearing shorts. But I still want to know what the chickens are up to??? Either way it looks like you are having fun…I can’t wait to hear about it. YOu little suspense writer, you!! :chicken:

  36. Katharina says:

I’m a no pants person myself. AND I dropped in to visit a friend, unannounced, and guess what. YEP, she was out burning trash with no pants on. Great minds think alike.

  37. Jodie says:

I think you are making a grapevine basket/bed for clover.

  38. Debbie in Memphis says:

I agree with all the other posters who said pants are over rated. Heck, I hardly ever wear pants…unless I have to leave the house or I’m expecting a delivery. I don’t want to scare the UPS man

I’m voting “no pants” and it looks like you’re making a wreath OR maybe a grapevine crown so that you can be “Queen of the Pantless People”

  39. TeresaH says:

I think you are weaving a trellis type sunshade/weather blocker for coco and that it involves 52 since he had to go chop the vines for you, and water since you’d need to soak them to make them pliable.

Or maybe you are making wings to fly away on… :flying: while coco chases you barking…and 52 chases you hollering for you to come back…and you land in the duck pond!lol

And I don’t think you have any pants on. Neither do I! I don’t see a thing wrong with being comfortable when you’re home! LOL

  40. sunshine says:

    you are wearing shorts

  41. Treasure says:

I guess cleaning up a mess made by Coco and 52 is helping off camera.

    Treasure

  42. Michelle Willingham says:

I’m going to guess you’re making a wreath. :purr:

  43. Donna says:

I voted “no pants”..you are out there in your tshirt. LOL Are you making a trellis of some kind? Although, in your hand, it does look wreath shaped!

Ohhh, Coco..happy birthday puppy!!!!! I LOVE THAT PUP!

  44. Robin G. says:

    Fighting off the encroaching vines?

  45. Carolyn N says:

Looks like a wild grapevine wreath to me. Hope you have better luck than I when I tried making those things. It definitely takes some practice to get the “hang” of it! I vote for with shorts.
    Blessings,
    CarolynN

  46. Susan C says:

I think you are making a basket so Coco can carry the eggs for you. My first thought was a wreath but couldn’t figure Coco in the equation.

  47. Nita in South Carolina says:

I think Clover ATE your pants, and you are weaving some more from some porch vines. Coco is probably just taking a nap, and Spartacus is still plotting world domination.

  48. catslady says:

I am going to say you are making an egg basket – coco can carry it for you and 52 probably brought you all the vines. someone mentioned you needed water to make them pliable. and pantless is fine as long as you’re not pantiless too lol.

  49. Brandy says:

That’s either grapevine or kudzu and you’re stripping it to make wreath’s. *G* I think. *G*

  50. Jeanette Fields says:

Well, who’s taking your picture??? 52? Then you would have shorts on. Right? No really, you WOULD have shorts on? Right?

  51. Martha F. says:

Hummmm… You are making a chair bottom for one of those old country chairs that sit on front porches… for 52..yeah what a gift and coco gets his own smaller version. I’m sure that I’ve totally missed the mark but can’t imagine why pants would be necessary… so no to the pants.

  52. hawkswench says:

If the giant puppy was involved I would say cleaning up the presents that she brought you.
I will hazard the guess that your shirt is long enough so you are not wearing shorts underneath.
I will also hazard a guess that you are trying to make a wreath which gives me the idea as we have a bunch of wild grape vines here too.

  53. Estella says:

Whatever you are doing, it looks interesting!

  54. Suzanne - The Farmer's Wife says:

You’re making a grapevine wreath, of course! It’s akin to wrestling snakes.

    – Suzanne, the Farmer’s Wife

  55. Joan Crowson says:

Well, I’m not sure about the pants – but I thought this was a picture of your daughter anyway:) You look about 12 – are you sure it isn’t your daughter, and if it is – she is wearing shorts. What would her mama think???

  56. J CopperCreekers says:

You are plaiting vines together to make strong enough to attach to a secure post so that you and 52 can swing down to the goat field like Tarzan and Jane. Coco is there cushion your fall when your pantless butt hits the ground. *snicker snort giggle* :rotfl:  :shimmy:

  57. Suzanne McMinn says:

Yes! I’ll confess the truth when I do the post in a few days about what I was doing in this picture!

  58. Phyllis says:

Okay, I think you are working with grapevine which Coco
helped you drag in. You need to soak it in water so you can bend it into the shape that you need. And 52 is hanging around only because–YOU’RE SO NOT WEARING ANY PANTS!!!!! LOL
No, I think that you are wearing shorts.

  59. Maureen says:

I’m going with wreaths and no pants.

  60. Sandy says:

I’d say a grapevine wreath and I am more interested in the chickens then if you have pants on. That is part of the joy of country living…….wearing as few clothes as possible. You can hear company coming for a country mile.

  61. teri says:

Some sort of halloween costume for Coco?

  62. JenniferB says:

:sheepjump: I’m guessing a jumprope, which you and 52 will swing and Coco will jump.
