Camp to Camp

My three little 4-H Mingo tribe warriors. I heard there was a lot of toilet paper and shaving cream involved in the 2 a.m. camp activities…..

14 is already off to football camp at West Virginia University. I told him to wash his clothes, pronto, to get ready for Camp #2. He did his laundry. With much prompting from me: “The washer is finished. Put that in the dryer. Put another load in the washer.” Etc. He has the attention span of a gnat for laundry. Finally got his laundry done. Time to leave for football camp! I tell him to bring his clean clothes downstairs so we can count out what he needs to pack and get his bag ready. He brings down t-shirts and athletic shorts. I say, “You need socks. Where are your socks?”

He has a 3.99 GPA.

Socks? What are these things called socks? He didn’t wash any socks…… :fryingpan:

    Aw, they’re all so cute!

And socks … sigh, the socks. They never get washed here either.

HAHA! I hate to point this out, but GPA and common sense do not go hand in hand. My hubs is a prime example of this obsevation!

    Socks,
they disappear here faster than a plate of gooey chocolate brownies. YUM!! :hungry:

LOL!! Socks, that’s why stores sell them – for those that remain unwashed.

  6. catslady says:

Personally I think it’s a male thing – they just don’t think they have to do it lol.

  7. Danica/Dream says:

I didn’t know teenage boys wore socks. Except for that one nasty smelly pair

    Dear Lord, Suzanne!
They all look so mature in this picture.
They are three good-lookin’ young-uns, thats for sure. And the girl child looks so much like you!

Oh My!!! I can’t stop laughing! I’m constantly doing this my oldest and that drives me insane! For some reason I keep thinking that as they get older they will ‘get’ this! LOL, I’d love to show this to him but he’d just use it against me siting its a ‘norm’. :fan: But my hubby now… he might get a kick out of it too!
