It’s official!!! My Kickstarter project is funded! Yay!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH for hanging in here with me!!! I can’t wait to show you the step by step posts as the health-department approved kitchen in the studio THAT YOU MADE HAPPEN comes together. There is a two-week waiting period until the funds are actually released to me. I have Dave and Matt scheduled to start work on the studio the third week of March!

We had terrible storms in this area last night, but we weathered the wild rain and wind and tornado warning without losing power, whew. Many people are out of power in this area, and many people were devastated by these storms. Thinking of them today. SarahGrace, who is engineering the cow move today, is out of power but was able to get in touch with me and we are on for today and getting ready now. We’ll be leaving in a few minutes for this adventure. Ross’s truck will be pulling the trailer that SarahGrace and her family and farmer neighbor have somehow magically managed to make appear. All my kids here will also be helping with the loading and blocking as I entice BP to get on the trailer, and with her magnetic mommy power, she brings on Glory Bee. Wish us luck (and calves).

Scenes from last night after the storm passed–I let out the reserved water in the tub and the teenagers (Morgan and Mariah) started playing Puppy Beauty Shop.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!

I hope to see you at workshops and other events at the farm–and also many of you will see the remodeled studio at this year’s Party on the Farm in September. I promise you the best celebration ever!

YYYaaaaayyyyyyyyy. And I am glad you exceeded your goal. We know how unexpected expenses come up. Also, likely there are things you would like to have that you did not include in your original plan.

  20. wormlady says:

I’m so happy for you. Have to confess that I didn’t contribute, but not because I wasn’t willing to, but because I wasn’t up to the Amazon thing. If you hadn’t made it, I was going to suggest an Amazon-free version, like people just send you checks. That I would do. If you want to provide an address, maybe people who don’t like Amazon would still send checks.

  21. easygoinglady says:

there was another way to send money. This originally started with sending through PayPal, which is what I did before the Kickstarter event ever got started. I am sure Suzanne would be happy to continue to take contributions through Paypal. :happyflower:

  22. Lajoda says:

    Wormlady,
I totally get you, I hung back a while over that Amazon thing.
I did find a PO Box address but in the end opted for the Kickstarter site after all because I didn’t know if Suzanne would get funding credit otherwise.
The address I found is PO Box 97, Walton, WV 25286 and I found it under CONTACT at the top of the page.

  23. D1BeachBum says:

YAH!!! :snoopy: Congratulations Suzanne….now the hard work begins.
Chloe looks so cute….nothing like a wet poof puppy.

  24. hoosiergal says:

wormlady, I sent suzanne a check to the address above. Was not 100% sure this goal would be met and I wanted her to have the money if the goad was not met. Worked out fine for everyone.
Suzanne, congradulations on reaching goal #1. hoosiergal

  25. Blessings says:

  27. princessvanessa says:

Mschrief—Suzanne has already been paying it forward. She backs other peoples Kickstarter programs and asked to be informed when a CITR pledger launched their Kickstarter project (so she can pledge to it). Suzanne doesn’t seem to blow her own horn so I will do it for her. lol

  28. Diane says:

That is so awesome about your funding!!!! The puppy photos are also great. 🙂

  29. outbackfarm says:

Yay for you!!!!!! I know you must be able to breath now.
