Nutmeg the Escape Artist. I have to wonder how she got out this time. Maybe she wants another tour of the house?

I have to agree with the above posters, I think she’s waiting on the cat to open the door for her! Catnip bribe, I’m sure!

Suzanne reminds me…..
Once we had a deck, once we had a goat, once we had a farm bell mounted on a post, up high above a thin deck rail on the end of said deck….once
Bell rings…go to door to see if pesky neighbor is there…no neighbor but goat out again and down in the back yard ….must be wind….no wind….bell is not ringing now…go back to working…
Bell rings again…go to door to see if pesky neighbor playing trick, if wind up again or maybe a pesky blue jay is there…no pesky, trickster neighbor, no stormy wind, no pesky blue jay… goat still loose in yard by deck, will deal with “Billy” later, bell is not ringing now… go back to working…..
Bell rings….(#%+!) run to door with broom, plan to beat pesky, trickster neighbor, planned to secure bell, plan to ‘shoo’ pesky Blue Jay…”Billy” down in yard by deck, appearing to be grazing on maple tree leaf, his eye’s showing a slight ‘glint’…start to ‘ponder‘…no way…so go back to working..
Bell rings and bell rings and bell still ringing..…whisper to self ( #%+!)… tip toe toward door with gun, suck in belly, slip up to door, peep around door window…see no pesky (almost shot ) trickster neighbor, see no stormy wind blowing, see no (almost shot) pesky Blue Jay, did see “Billy” tiptoeing like a champion gymnast across thin rail, fly off the rail as if possessed with wings, turn and look up to door from yard while still holding piece of maple leaf in mouth…
Did not shoot pesky “Billy” but laughed so hard , nearly lost control of gun and other female tea-holding apparatus….
PS…so your turn will come….if not already…
PSS…and cookies are not helping the situation….

She looks a little thin to me–give more cookies and she will be good. Well now let me think . . . That theory doesn’t work well with kids, so it probably won’t work for goats either. Darn!

What a great shot!…Looks like you’ve got your hands full, too. Maggie Moo decided to become a rebel yesterday. Ate my pajama shorts, a couple of socks & refused to go outside when she needed.
