Boomer. He may be a small dog in a big dog’s world, but he’s determined to do the job! He sits by Coco’s side and they stare off into the woods together. Every once in a while Boomer leans over to Coco and says, “Tell me why we’re doing this again?”

We don’t know! He’s some kind of terrier. We got him from McDonald’s parking lot….

Cocoa reminds me of the sheep dog in the old Looney Tunes cartoons.

I have a white faced St. Bernard who like Big Puppy is a love. My daughter brought her dog with her when she moved back from SC. He is a coyote looking mutt and also is a love. The two of them patrol the back yard and every day take long luxurious naps together. I want to be Puppy and Boomer or Willow and Odin when I grow up…..a happy puppy. Thanks for the great photo. And thank you for you, you always make me get tear of joy (or sorrow) but at least I know I’m alive, some thanks to you. Linda in New Mexico. PS my grands had your quick mix pancakes for breakfast today and were quite impressed.

I just love dogs, all dogs, but I have a really weak spot in my heart for big dogs. Do you know how much Coco weighs? My rescued lab mix is 90# and I suspect Coco would dwarf him.

Thanks for the photo of Coco! I love big dogs! :happyflower:

I love the dogs! They are stunning! Would 10 dogs be too many? You already have 10 cats, what’s a few more animals?

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
