Who Is that Masked Man?

Boomer followed me over two miles down our muddy road yesterday on my way to pick up Weston from the bus. Near the hard road, I finally gave up and picked him up for fear he’d run down the hard road after me, too, and risk getting hit by a car.

He threw up in the back seat before we got home, of course.

My dog loves loves to ride in the car. Just say the word ride and he is out at the car before all of us. lol. Now we got a puppy and he has to learn to ride in the car without getting sick. lol. I take him on short little trips to get him used to rideing.

  5. NorthCountryGirl says:

Good ole Boomer! He’s such a sweetie.

  6. Kelly Walker says:

Boomer is a “Mama-Lovin’-Dog”. He says, “Don’t leave me behind.”

  7. Carol Langille says:

Awww….poor Boomer. Poor Suzanne. Poor car.
My sister had a cat once who every time she went to the vet would make a terrible mess in the truck. Throwing up, wetting, poo-ing…just where ever there was an outlet, bad things would come flying out. I never offered to help my sister take that cat to the vet. I felt bad about it but I never offered.

  8. jane says:

Wow Carol Langille- I would not have offered either. I would have put the cat in a carrier under towels etc. Oh the fun of taking care of pets. Unpredictable –

  9. Merino Mama says:

I took my 8 year old tomcat to the vet last Monday to get him updated on his shots in preparation for the neutering tomorrow. He SPRAYED in the cat carrier before we got there! Everyone definitely knew we had arrived. The vet was kind enough to wash the carrier out before we left, but she didn’t stay in the room very long :bugeyed:

    😆

Our cat follows me around the block anytime I take the dogs for a walk. It used to be ok when we lived where we had a sidewalk, but now we don’t and he runs in the road… sometimes I pick him up and just carry him home because I worry he’ll get hit by a car. Lately I’ve been locking him in the house while I walk the dogs. Our cat thinks he’s a dog, and our pit mix thinks he’s a cat… go figure.

  11. Carol says:

My son had a dog like that. He barfed every time he rode in the car. Never changed.
Also, I had a cat that was so scared when we took him to the vet his feet would sweat.
It isn’t just animals. I can’t handle merry-go-rounds or ferris wheels, and I’d rather die that ride a roller coaster.

  12. rain says:

you’ve got to become better at sneaking out–cause you KNEW that was going to happen in the back seat!! gotta love em!!!! :sun:

  13. Just Kris says:

He just wanted a ride in the beauty of Spring!! My pooch thinks every time I go outside I am going “bye-bye” and she whines to go too – but only during this time of year, not in the fall or winter monthes. Go figure!!

  14. mamawolf says:

Poor Boomer. Have you considered scopolamine patches for hin? I love that little dog, he is so full of personality.

Boomer is obviously not an auto dog :help: :bugeyed: . We still love him.

  16. Chic says:

Aww poor little Boomer…he just didn’t want to be left at home that day. Too bad he got sick though. Wonder if he’ll try and follow you next time….let us know ok! :happypuppy:

  17. Miss Becky says:

Boomer is adorable. Just adorable. I want him

  18. Barbee' says:

Well, I don’t have any answers for that one even though it has happened before and we know it will happen again. Poor Boomer. Poor Suzanne. Poor car seat.

  19. JeannieB says:

Boomer is so cute, and you are an angel for saving him!

  20. SuzieQ says:

Boomer is so endearing..he’s lucky to have you.

  21. Conny says:

Funny. The barfing in your car isn’t so funny. Too bad you couldn’t make him walk home alongside the car (on a leash of course) while you drive slowly home. On second thought that might take too long. Chin up Boomer.

  22. Wendy says:

    What’s a little vomit between friends…

    =-)

  23. scorwin says:

Awwww, Boomer didn’t want you to leave him. You’re a good mommy to pick him up : ))
