I’m back! (Finally!) I have been sitting on the perfect porch at the farmhouse–writing and reading and doing galleys for Deep Blue and working on my online class and finishing up the hurricane relief auction work (I’ll post the total raised tomorrow!). What have you been doing????

On the way to West Virginia, I was stopped by the cutest State Trooper. I flirted and said please and reminded him that I was a good girl after he checked my driving record and discovered I had a safe one. I batted my eyelashes. I TRIED EVERYTHING. But I still took home a speeding ticket.
How fast was I going? The only hint I’m giving is that I was on a state highway at the time, not an interstate.
I’ll send a PAX mug to one winner drawn from either among those closest to the correct number or who guess the correct number.

I’m gonna say 83 MPH. Based on NY state highways being 65mph in certain spots and knowng there’s no way you could escape a ticket up here if you got clocked at 15+mph over the limit and got stopped.
