Cold weather moving in for good, it seems. This is Morgan with her cousin Madison on the last good day to play in the creek with Flash-the-dog there in the brush. We’re snuggling up inside reading this weekend. What about you? I just started Dating the Mrs. Smiths by Tanya Michaels, one of the new Nexts.

It sounds like in central Minnesota we are going to enjoy our last couple of days in the 40’s which has presently melted the couple of inches of snow we had on the lawns. No more white stuff for now, so it is great to walk outside or to drive to the malls and try to do some holiday shopping as lower temperatures are on their way and also a few snow flurries are expected. Winter is determined to try and arrive here and stay. To me that means a hot cup of coffee or chocolate, a fluffy warm afghan and a good book to read while cuddling up on the sofa.

Well we’re supposed to have *gasp* warm weather this weekend but really windy so I’m staying inside. Finishing my Xmas cards, watching a hockey game and tomorrow going shopping then doing some more writing.
Exciting huh? lol
