I’d also like to catch up a bit since my sister and niece were here to help me get my place a little “clearer”. I would have to move to a place where I have things stored in the basement with an outside staircase. No fun when you have to shovel about 15 stairs to rid them of the mounds of snow we’ve been having just to get some useless stuff out of here and useful things up.

My brother’s 3 kids went to a French emersion school (all subjects are taught in French) from Grades 1-8. They’ve always had a number of immigrant countries and resulting religions present. They usually tried to sing at least one song honoring each religion represented. I personlly just found out that it’s not PC to wish people a Merry Christmas. As my sister said,”Why not let people know where you’re coming from?” Our Sikh friends always sent us a neutral “Season’s Greetings” card. I’m not sure they have any particular Sikh holiday at this time.
