In other words, I got home late last night and was out of time. And I blame Mammy Jane.

That would be because last night? I TOOK THIS PICTURE FROM INSIDE MAMMY JANE’S HOUSE.

Will explain asap.

 Thats a beautiful window! Is it a transome (I have no idea if I am saying or spelling that right). You know a window above door? Very pretty!

  2. Dianna says:

Yes, I’ll be waiting for the explanation!

And by the way, I ordered the book “The Legend of Mammy Jane” after you posted about it. It’s wonderful – I can’t put it down!

Do the animals know it is Presidents’ Day? How are they celebrating? Who is their president? Do they have a board? Do they have by-laws?

Looks like an old transom window. Air conditioning from the old days.

greensborodailypost, If the animals know today is Presidents Day. Mine all gained up on me yesterday to say I didn’t get to rest. My dairy cows ran from me instead of going to the barn to be milked. I had to bring 2 new calves from the beef herd to my dairy barn and now I get to raise them. I think they know it was suppose to be a holiday and I am not suppose to have one. :hissyfit:

Suzanne, that lends me to believe you went adverturing yseterday and got back late. I hope we get to hear all about the adventure. :woof:

We have transom windows that open above our doors, inside and out,in our 1880’s farm house. Builder wanted to take them out.I said, No way.

I have always loved stained glass windows . I have a Charles Rennie MacIntosh design The Rose
in mind for one of my windows finding someone to do it is more of the challenge.
Mammy Jane has a beautiful Window.
