Here in North Texas, the Bradford pear trees have bloomed and have their 1st leaves too. But they said it may dip back into the 40s next week. So Winter is still hanging around, even here.
It’s been in the low 20’s here in north GA, but the Bradford pears have bloomed here, too. I’m hoping the apple and peach trees haven’t bloomed yet. If they do, this county will lose yet another season of peaches and apples – and pears, too.
I was all excited to see leaves on my hawthorn tree. Then I put my glasses on. The leaves are english ivy leaves from a vine that’s crawling up the bare-twigged hawthorn branches. gaaack
