My second letter from Weston.
I’m going to write back: “I’m not dead, either. Write MORE.” (ha)
Actually, this is the first letter that came with an address. Now I will begin writing him every day, just as I did with Ross. But I’m starting to think I may not get quite the detailed letters back that I got from Ross. You can see excerpts from Ross’s Navy boot camp letters here.

Looks much like the single letter I received from my daughter the first time she went to Girl Scout camp.
I think your idea for you reply is great! Go for it!

KIDS!
They write the darnest things!
At least he is writing–a little. He is probably so tired, that is the best he can do, I am sure he will write volumes a bit later 😉

Or He may just continue to be a ManofFewWords. I’ve come to be thankful, in between phone calls, for emails that say, “I’m still alive.” from our own QuietMan.

Just think how long a pen will last him over time. I would like to see the bayonet drill and the rifle range when Weston hits the course.
